At Active Family Chiropractic & Wellness Centre in Kuchai Lama, KL we provide gentle, pregnancy-appropriate chiropractic care to help reduce discomfort, improve mobility, and support your recovery after birth.

Pregnancy Care

Chiropractic care can help with pregnant women who is suffered from back pain as it's very common during second or third trimester in their pregnancy journey.

As your baby grows, your center of gravity changes and your pelvis and supporting ligaments work differently. Gentle chiropractic care aims to support spinal and pelvic function so you can move more comfortably throughout pregnancy.

Safety note: Chiropractic care is not a replacement for obstetric care. If you have a high-risk pregnancy or any concerning symptoms, we’ll advise you to consult your OB/GYN and we can co-manage when appropriate.

As the baby grows inside the tummy, the pressure in the low back will increases. Hence,  it will strain your low back and stress the joint and muscle in abdomen and pelvic.  Back pain is very common during pregnancy journey due to physcial and hormonal changes in the body.

Maintaining the balance with the pelvic, joints and ligaments will help to optimise the room for development of the baby during pregnancy.

Establishing pelvic balance and maintaining optimal baby positining help to ease the delivery process. Proper nerve and muscle function of the spine and abodomen can help with contraction.
